The Belle Lettres Literary Club met with their husbands recently for a patio steak barbecue and Bicentennial Olympic games party. CLARK RAMPTON THE COUPLES competed with humorous games like waterfall ball, ping pong volley and others to gain points for humorous awards and prizes. He weighed seven pounds and nine ounces. H is parents have decided that his name will be Jared Milton. He too has the following grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Blamires of Kays-villMr. and Mrs. Milton Sessions of Farmington, and Melvin C. Rigby of Ogden. It was a baby daughter for Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Aurich of 1417 Marilyn Drive. She adds three to the daughter section in the family, and one son Jason makes them the parents of four children. The other daughters are Lesa and Amy. They are going to name the little new miss, Melissa. She arrived weighing 1 5. Happy grandparents to receive the good news were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Aurich of Grants Pass, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Nielson of 1413 Dallas St. are the parents of a new little daughter bom last week. On July 31 they attended the Rushforth Family reunion at the Kaysville City Park. Mr. Lewis Weaver has been confined to the McKay hospital in Ogden undergoing treatment. Mrs. Sarah Giles has moved into her new home at 1st West and 1st South in Kaysville the past week. She was honored on her birthday anniversary Wednesday at a family party at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Jerty Giles. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Butler entertained on Sunday at a family dinner. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. David Butler and children Michelle and Tiffany of Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gutler, Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Butler and son Christopher of Ogden. The dinner was in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Butler who are moving to Logan to make their home, where he has accepted a new position there. Vernon Nicholls who has been confined to the McKay hospital the past six weeks undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit is reported to be slightly improved. Mrs. Adelia Rushforth spent Thursday and Friday at Provo visiting with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hunt, Miss Sandra Rushforth and Mr. and Mrs. Lane Rushforth. Mrs. Francis Morton visiting in Idaho Falls, Ida. with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Morton to help with the arrival of a new grandson named Jared Travis who was born recently. Miss Heidi Hill of Kaysville and her friend Miss Joan Moss of Centerville have returned home by plane from Hawaii where they have spent a month attending classes at the LDS College of Hawaii and also sightseeing on the four Islands. Heidi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard W. Hill Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thor-nocDallas, Tex. visited for two weeks with her parents, k, Mr. and Mrs. Waynard Bennett. Mrs. Randall Bowring and her daughter Mrs. Paul Terry entertained at a mis- cellaneous bridal shower Thursday evening at Mrs. Bowrings home honoring Miss Brenda Barkley who will be married July 31 to Rodney Durtschi. Mrs. Essie Thornley and Miss Irene Stoddard accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Leonard W. Hill Jr. and family to Bear Lake where they spent the weekend. The mother will be remembered as the former Sandra Major of Kaysville. The happy grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. are Major, Kaysville; Mrs. Franca Dunham, Layton. The ts include Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sanders, Kaysville; Mrs. Alice Dunham of Cannonville, Utah. Its a son for Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Barton. Their first child was bom Monday July 19 at the South Davis Community hospital and weighed in at 5 lb 15 oz. Mrs. Barton will be remembered as the former Laurel Young of Kaysville. They are excited over the new addition as well as the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Young, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Barton all of Kavsville. It is the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Young. Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Probst of Midway are the grandparents. From Antioch. Calif, comes word of the arrival of their first daughter after three sons, bom on June 12 to Dr. and Mrs. William Nielsen. She weighed in at 7 lb 2 oz and is receiving much attention from her three brothers, David, Joseph and Aaron. Mrs. Nielsen will be remem- bered as the former Marsha Green of Kaysville. Boasting over the arrival of a son are Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Fawcett. The 7 lb 12 oz lad arrived on July 20 at the McKay-De- e hospital in Ogden and is their first child. The new mother is the former Paula Rigby of Kaysville. The proud grandparents making the news known are Mr. and Mrs. Walwyn Green, Kaysville; Mrs. Iris Nielsen of Orem. Mrs. Alice Green and Mrs. Julia Webster of Kaysville are the Jim Giles son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Giles went by plane to Louisana where he will visit with relatives for the next six weeks. He will also be visiting in Alabama and Dallas, Tex. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meacham vacationed at Sinclair, Wyo. where they were guests of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Meacham. Their grandson Michael returned to Kaysville with them to spend the rest of the summer and will also be attending Davis High School. for two months of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bond is Mrs. Ruby S.
