For example, on Primary day as Lisa Leavitt was getting off the school bus she fell and injured her foot. Although in pain, she sat all through Primary with what later proved to be a broken foot. WHEN THE families of Heather Bracken and Jennifer Eccles planned vacations which would interfere with Primary they pledged themselves to attend Primary out of state. Heather attended a ward in San Diego, Calif, but Jennifer ran into complications. Jennifer arrived at a ward in Long Beach, Calif, at the appointed hour only to find that Primary had been held earlier in the day. She was greatly disappointed and had resigned herself to breaking the class perfect attendance record. However, next day she and her family visited a wax museum in Anaheim, Calif, and chanced to meet the manager of the museum. After inquiring where they were from, he was interested in learning of their religious affiliation. THEY were surprised to learn that he was also a member of the LDS Church and when he heard of Jennifers efforts to attend Primaiy he informed them that his wards Primary was being held that very day. Therfore, Jennifer was able to attend Primary in an Anaheim Ward. Susie Earl had a brush with poison ivy during the course of the year and was covered with a severe rash and bums. In spite of her appearance, she refused to miss Primary. HEATHER Bracken fell from a horse and broke her arm and suffered cuts and bruises. She did not use this as an excuse for missing Primary. Although Marilyn and Mamie have had no problems to interfere with their Primary attendance, their faithful efforts are to be commended. ITS EASY to see that this is a very special group of young ladies. Short sleeve pants suits are worn with long sleeve blouses or sweaters. Some sweaters have turtle necklines. In the fall, the fog is often seen in most parts of the country (the west coast experiences much fog in winter). FOGS ARE usually caused when the earth (heated dur- ing the summer) loses its heat into the cooler night air. As the warmer air from the earths surface rises and is cooled, fog forms.
