Show By VIRGINIA BENNETT 825-039- 1 President and Mrs. C. Russell Hansen and daughter Shellie have arrived home after residing in East Lansing, Mich, for the past three years. The couples son Brooks Hansen, who accompanied his parents to the East, and who has graduated from High School in East Lansing, arrived home earlier this simmer. He has been making hishomewith his brother and also staying at the home of a siaer, until the arrival of his parents. He left Michigan soon after his High School graduation. While the Hansen family resided in Michigan, President Hansen was presid-ingovthe Mission there for The Church of JesusChnst of Latter-da- y Saints. Mrs. Vera C. Gooch accompanied the Hansen family to the East and assisted with son-in-la- their assignment. , turn back she traveled to Oregsn, and will spend some time with a daughter and her family there. President and Mrs. Hansen were the honored speakers at the Syracuse Second LDS Ward Sacrament Meeting on Sunday afternoon. Coming from all of the sirroundingarea states on the East, South, North and West were about one hundred LDS Missionaries who had labored under President Bear Lake last week. A veiy large group of close friends of Eugene Tolman from Syracuse, attended his open-hous- e reception held on Sunday in honor of his 80th Birthday anniversary. Mr. Tolman formerly resided here for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Smith and their three sons, and Mr. Smiths mother, Mrs. Hyrum Smith, are now nicely situated in their new residence in Battle Creek, Mich. The families left here last month for their new home. Mr. Smith who had been a member of the Syracuse City board, resigned his position, as he was transferred from his employment at HAFB, to ni their home while they labored in Mrs. Gooch a former Clearfield resident, was making her home in Arizona when called to accompany President and Mrs. Hansen. Upon her re- boys, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Della Silva and their family of five children, and Judge James O. Della Silva and wife June, all enjoyed a few days at Mr. and Mrs. Belvin Gerald South of Centerville, Carolina, have been visiting for the past three weeks at the and home of their daughter. Bishop and Mrs. Clayton J. Holt and their family here. Mr. and Mrs. Graham Smith and their five children of Woodland, Calif., are visitors at the home of Mrs. Smiths mother, Mrs. Geneva B. Rampton. And also with her brothers and their families here. Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Jones entertained at their home on Saturday afternoon, July 24th with-- a birthday party for their daughter, Tif-fawho was one year old on that day.
