Everyone welcome. , (331) Community church school Park City's thriving community Sunday School program is a joint effort by three Protestant churches. Held each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. at the Park City Community Church, 402 Park Avenue, the classes consist of people from the Community Com-munity Church, Shepherd of the Mountain Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Ranging from preschool ages through adults, the enrollment now exceeds 50, and more students are arriving each Sunday. Sunday School is from 9 until 10 a.m., with worship services at the Park City Community Church (Methodist affiliated) following at 10: 15 a.m. During the worship hour, child care is provided for youngsters of kindergarten and below. Children ages three to five are welcome, visitors as well as residents. (TFN) Easter Egg Hunt Park City Preschool's fifth annual Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 2 at Prospector Square Athletic Club from noon to 2 p.m. All children and their families are welcome. (331) Community Clinic open house The Park City Community Clinic will be holding an open house Friday, March 25, 1983 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited to tour the facility and to meet the staff and board of directors. The clinic is located in the basement at 1515 Park Avenue (the Red Barn) . Refreshments will be served. (324) Blood pressure clinic The Summit County Health Department will hold a blood pressure clinic at the Memorial Building on Wednesday, March 30. The clinic will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. (324) Got talent? Prove it! KPCW's second annual Talent Show will be held April 12 at the Egyptian Theatre, starting at 7:30 p.m. Contest entrants should pick up an application at KPCW's studios in the Memorial Building or contact either Glenn Steigmeyer or George Ricker at 649-9004 before April 3. ( 331 ) Family planning clinics The Park City Community Clinic, a non profit family planning plan-ning program, will be holding clinics during March. Appointments Appoint-ments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. The services offered include: physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are reasonable. The Art Network - A cooperative gallery showing the work of Park City area artists. Mediums represented include stained glass and leather. Volunteers get credit University of Utah students can now earn college credit for volunteer work done at a number of nonprofit organizations in Park City. The amount of credit awarded to a student is based on the number of actual hours spent doing volunteer work. For every 36 hours of volunteer work done during the quarter, the student is given one hour of college credit. In addition to the volunteer work, students are- typically required to keep a journal of their activities. The volunteerism courses are open to any person with a fngh school degree. These courses are listed in the current Park City Institute Spring Class Edition under Leisure Experience: Ex-perience: Volunteerism (Recreation and leisure 194R-44 or 391R-44) and Volunteerism in the Fine Arts (Modern Dance 39lRB-42and500RC-42). Such nonprofit Park City organizations as the Kimball Art Center, the Egyptian Theater, the U.S. Ski Team, KPCW and the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Convention & Visitors Bureau are currently in need of student volunteers. University of Utah spring schedule The University of Utah's Division of Continuing Education will be offering 13 courses at the Kimball Art Center spring quarter. The spring session will begin the week of March 28. Courses to be offered include English 101 (expository writing), Spanish 101 (first year Spanish), Journalism 171 (writing and reporting for the mass media), Math 106 (plane trigonometry), Art History 103 (survey of art history), English 245 (introduction to imaginative writing), Psychology 122 (psychology of infancy and childhood), Math 101 (intermediate algebra), Math 105 (college algebra), English 325 (introduction to Shakespeare), Psychology 101 (introduction to Psychology), Modern Dance 391 (volunteerism (volun-teerism in the fine arts) and Leisure Experience 194 (volun-,teerism). Printmaking at Kimball Salt Lake artist Kris Billington will be teaching a six-week printmaking course at the Kimball Art Center beginning Monday, April 11. The course will meet every Monday evening from 6 : 30 to 9 p. m . The workshop will cover woodcut and silkscreening. A follow-up course covering photo silkscreening will be scheduled in the near future. Cost for the course is $45 for Kimball Art Center members and $50 for nonmembers.
