It is up to many of them to see that they buy cheaply, but wisely, so they can put the money they save in defense stamps and bonds to help the war effort. It is up to the women, the housewives house-wives and workers alike, to make over their last year's garments, to learn new and tasty recipes for leftover left-over foods.
