Show MAIN OFFICE BUILDING AT GENEVA COMPLETED The main office building, which will house some 400 officials and departmental employees at the Geneva . Steel plant near Provo, Utah is ready for occupancy. This building, which is a part of the immense steel mill, is designed de-signed to conserve critical materials,, mater-ials,, yet it remains architecturally architectural-ly attractive with its sharp limestone lime-stone facade flanked by deep, red-faced red-faced bricks. The skeleton of the building is made of reinforced concrete Interior wood trim of the main body 302 feet long and the two wings that extend back 81 feet is of select birch. In general the floors are covered with asphalt tile and acoustical ceilings have been installed to deaden the noise. To make the building a functional function-al unit by itself, a kitchen and cafeteria have been placed in the basement. Adjacent smaller building of similiar design is also completed. This building will serve the industrial in-dustrial Relations and (personnel department. |
