Show Will Teach Club Members Band Methods at Fairmont V. E. Picco, who at one time was a resident of Salt Lake City but who, for several years past has been engaged in band teaching in Chicago, and has developed a new method of teaching youth to create much better band mu3ic than was formerly the case, has been engaged to teach the Boy's Club, at Fairmont Park. Special music classes and instructions in-structions for all members interested inter-ested in band music, orchestral music, drum corps, bugle corps, accordian, mouth organ, jazz and glee music. This is now available for all members of the Club. Special Spec-ial attention will be given beginners begin-ners in class work on the funda- mentals of music, or rhythm, and the proper use of conducting by the use of the baton. Meetings for explanation and enrollment will be held at the Fairmont Club House on Monday, June 28, at 7:30 p. m. Every boy and girl who has the inner desire to become a I musician should embrace this opportunity, op-portunity, initiation fees are only 25 cents and monthly dues afterward after-ward are only 5 cents. |
