Be it ordained by the Moab City Council that Section 12.24.020 of the Moab Mu- - 91-0- 8 AMENDING THE MOAB MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCLUDE CHAPAN ORDINANCE TER 17.71 REGARDING GUEST APARTMENTS. Members attended the "Christmas Presentation" by Marilyn Manning of UP&L at the City Hall and then continued with their regular meeting. Two educational programs were presented. Judy Ann Scott reported on the history of Patriotic songs, who wrote them, when, where and under what circumstances. Norma Dean Hawkinson presented her educational program on the warsconflicts of the United States. She began by having the members list the warsconflicts they could remember. She awarded a prize of "War Stamps" to Valerie Newland who named the most. Her report was very much enjoyed. The history of some of the wars brought back memories of childhood. The members shared personal stories and experiences they remember relating to some of the wars. There were seven members present with JoAnn Wetherington serving as cohostess for the evening. The Grand County Housing Authority (GCHA) is actively working with the County Commission , local realtors, developers, and Social Services to generate solutions for Grand County's housing problem.
