Show Farmers to Hear State Officials "Closer co-operation" as as a necessity nec-essity to success in farming and many other topics will be discussed at an important meeting which will be held J at the Centerfield meeting bouse tonight, to-night, immediately following the graduating exercises of the students I of the Lincoln school. Valley farm-! farm-! ers, as well as their wives and all j business interests are urgently re-( re-( quested to be present. Prominent speakers from the state favrn bureau will make addresses and in addition there will be some other mode of entertainment. en-tertainment. C. 0. Stott, county farm agent, announces that two men from the state farm bureau, and a lady, either Mrs. Jensen, of Box Elder county and ol the Home and Community Com-munity section of the state farm bureau, bu-reau, Mrs. Ivan D. Gore of Utah county or Mrs. Greenwood of Sevier county, will attend the Centerfield meeting. Simultaneously a meeting of a like nature will be held at Manti and Eph-raim Eph-raim and Sanpete county will be some busy place this evening. At Manti tomorrow, Friday night, a state farm bureau executive meeting will, be held and plans have been made to have the state officials arrive a day earlier in order to be able to attend tonight's meetings. In the party will be Ephraim Bergesen, president, M. P. Brown, vice-president, M. S. Winder, Wind-er, secretary, Geo. B. Cox, Jr., treasurer, treas-urer, and Samuel E. Taylor, director, of the state farm bureau. |
