Show Cafeteria Slights Patrons Dear Editor MONDAY May I entered the Redwood Campus cafeteria for breakfast at am a.m. After standing in line for three minutes I was told that I could not order any breakfast breakfast breakfast break break- fast entrees Despite this a young woman came up called the cook by name and was allowed al allowed allowed al- al lowed to order an omelet Obviously she knew the cook personally Having worked in the food industry for many years perhaps I have an unusually high expectation of service standards but when the sign says breakfast will be served until 1000 am a.m. I expect to be able to order up to that time This was not the first time I had this problem Maybe the lack of direct competition on campus has caused a callousness on the part of the cafeteria towards their customers which are the staff and students of the Redwood Campus Perhaps if the cafeteria staff was better trained in customer service these frequent frequent frequent fre fre- fre- fre quent slights might not occur I therefore suggest that the policy should be reth rethought Either the sign should read Breakfast until or whenever the cook decides to close or breakfast should be served until the time advertised y S S.
