They knew they had their hands full when they found themselves having to play the favorite Emery Spartans in the first round. Led by Adrianne Bradley, sister of NBA star Shawn Bradley, Emery dominated the front row. Nevertheless, the Pioneers played their hardest against the Eastern 7 touchdown. mbvhhb Last Friday former Lehi coach Jeff Kilts had his Bears ready to play as if he had something to prove. They got on the scoreboard first by marching 72 yards on eight plays, capped by a run by Donald Hawes, the Bears' senior wide receiverrunning back, who was a thorn in the Pioneers' side all night. The kick was wide left and Bear River held their only lead of the night, Hawes ended the night with 62 ground yards.
