Show CEDAR LADY OBSERVES EIGIITYSECOND BIRTHDAY On Thursday, March 25th, Mrs. Susie Thompson celebrated her eighty-second birthday anniversary as guest of honor at an informal gathering of her family and friends, at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Emma T. Mathews, with whom she resides. Mrs. Thompson w.is born in Beaver City, Utah, the daughter of Willsou G. and Saran A. Nowers. pioneers of Southern Utah. She married Edward W. Thompson on June 15th 1883, and with the exception of a few years spent in Colorado, lived in Beaver until 1934 when she came to Cedar I City to reside. Her husband died many years ago. She. is the mother of the following follow-ing children; George C. Thompson of Ogden, Mrs. John R. Murdock of Beaver, Edward N. Thompson and Emma T. Mathews of Cedar City. She has 11 grandchildren and 10 great grand children. Three of her grandsons are serving In the Armed Service. |
