Show Junior High School Closing To Feature Outdoor Program In place of the regular evening closing program this spring, the Junior High School, in cooperation with the army is presenting an afternoon af-ternoon of band music and physical educational drills, including posture pos-ture paradf. calisthentlcs. tumbling, tumb-ling, wrestling and regular army drill and tactics. The program will be held Saturday Sat-urday afternoon, April 24 at 2 o'clock o'-clock at the B. A. C. Stadium and the general public is cordially in vlted to attend. This will be the first public demonstration dem-onstration of the service men since they came to Cedar City and will bring together some 600 soldiers and officers in drill and tactics which should prove very interesting interest-ing to all. Over 350 Junior high school students stu-dents will participate In one or more musical and health activities under the direction of the teachers. The demonstration will Include activities which have been specially special-ly outlined and suggested by leading lead-ing health authorities to better fit our boys and girls for a more strenuous type of work that they may be called into in the near future. |
