Show Selectees Report For Induction At Salt Lake Friday Nine Iron county men will leavJ Cedar Friday morning to report at the Army Induction Center in Salt Lake City to submit to examinations examina-tions and induction into military service. Gordon Cram Chamberlain, of Summit, who was originally ached-I ached-I uled tp report with this group, will not go at this time because his papers did not reach him in California, where he is working, in time for him to report. Orvllle Johnson who resides at Woolsey's ranch West of Cedar City, will re-1 re-1 place Chamberlain in the April quota. Tie others who will leave are Boyd C. Stevensen, Dixon Parry San Louis Mitchell, and David V Hunter of Cedar City; Reed M. Rlcfiarda, Parownt; Alexander Smith, Hurricane; Garth D Pollock, Pol-lock, Kanarra, and Horace Dyle Adams, Modena. Two young Cedar City men, Dale Milne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Her-bert Milne, and Lester Heyborne. son of Mr. and Mrs Charles Hey-borne, Hey-borne, have volunteered for Induction Induc-tion with the next Iron county quota, which will probably be early In May. |
