Mangelson, candidate for two-yecounty commissioner. ar Gary Gillespie given discharge Gary Gillespie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Gillespie, arrived home on Monday. He has spent the past two years In the US Army and received his discharge last week. Gary grad uated from Tintic high school and attended school in Denver for a year before enlisting In the Army for a two year tour. He was based at Fort Hood the greater part of his two ar years with the exception of a few months attending school at Virginia and Georgia. Washington provides more Peace Corps Volunteers per capita than any other state, followed by Vermont, Colorado and Oregon. Union Pacific Railroad has ornounced a change in trains 5 and G arriving and leaving Tintic Junction. The Eastbound train which left Tintic Junction at 3:50 will leave now at approximately 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Salt Lake at 4:30 p.m. The westbound train will leave Salt Lake at 8 a.m. and arrive at Tintic Junction about 9:40 a.m. Residents of Tintic using these trains will do well to call the agent at the Junction to verify the time change. Ernest Honey services held Ernest Iloney, 80, a former resident of Eureka died at his home in Salt Lake City on Friday, October 25, 1968, of na- tural causes. He was bom August 31, 1888, in England to James and Elizabeth Folks Honey. He was married, but later divorced. Jle was a member of the Eureka Methodist Church during his residence here and was em ployed as a miner. Survivors are a son, Gordon, England. Funeral services were conducted Thursday in the Eureka Mctodist Church. Interment was in the Eureka City Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Early Mortuary. |
