Show November 1, 1968 THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER money making projects in the WSCS meets Womens Society of Christian Service met last Friday at the home of Mrs. Frank Ewell with president Carlene East-woo- d in charge. Mrs. Treloar gave the devotional and the lesson. Further plans were made for the Smorgasbord which the society is sponsoring November 17 to be held in the Memorial building from 4 to 7 p.m. Plans were discussed for future. At the .close of the meeting the hostess served delicious refreshments to those named and to Ailliene Farren, Rowena Hanks, Mabel Butler, Vola Nevers, Mary Newman, Marie Sharp, Ruth Bossingham, Jean Wentworth and Pat Brady. Cadet Girl Scouts The Cadet Girl Scouts met Friday eevning in the Elks club rooms for a Halloween party and a dance. The girls completed the festivities with a slumber party at the club CHURCH NEWS LDS church Flmo Boswell conducted the Sunday evening services at the Eureka Ward Chapel. The opening prayer was given by Kirk Dmssel and the music was under direction of Susan Sander-rooms for members only. Their leader, Cleo Judge, was in charge of the evening. Eureka, Utah son at the organ and Audrey Sanderson conducting. Speakers were Morris Smith and Carol Davis of the Stake High Council. The closing prayer was given by Ortho Christensen. Methodist church James Kcnslnger of Tooele will have charge of the Sunday morning services at the United Methodist Church. Te service will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. with Supt Linda Gourley presiding. 'Kiss Me Kate' at music hall The Valley Music Hall is really starting to buzz with activities, the likes of which we have not seen since producing the last three musicals. Its refreshing to see the return of the musicals in the Valley Music Hall, especially with a production of an excellent musical such as Kiss Me Kate, which opened on October 30th and runs thru November 2nd.
