Show Pleasant Grove News Presentation Is High Spot In Council Scouting One of the high spots in Scouting occurred Sunday evening in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Third ward,' when 17 Scouts and a father received their Eagle badges, the highest rank in Scouting. For one of the finest accomplishments. accomplish-ments. in the L. D. S. Church, as well as in Pleasant Grove Scouting activities, ac-tivities, great credit goes to Fred Shoell, Harold S. Walker, S. W. Hilton, Hil-ton, J. M. Mcfarlane, Harold Wright, and H. E. Johnson, troop committeemen; committee-men; Calvin Walker, Explorer Leader; Lead-er; Tom Walker, Scoutmaster and Gene Fugal, Assistant Scoutmaster. Those who received Eagle badges are: S. W. Hilton, Jean Fugal, Boyd Fugal, Bill Told, Leslie Smith, Don Hilton, Sam Hilton, Jr., Fred Halli-day, Halli-day, Dale Atwood, Dale Fugal, James Macfarlane, Glen Nielsen, Booth Kimball, Leslie Neves, Stanley Walker, Walk-er, Abel Ekins, Max Walker and Tom Walker, Assistant Scoutmaster. An unusual feature was that Sam Hilton and his three sons, Sam, Jr., Abel and Don received their Eagle badges together. Not included in the picture above are Tom Walker, Abel Ekins and Max Walker. |
