Show Hunters To Have Six-Day Pheasant Season In County any person at any one time may possess pos-sess not more than 15. It shall be unlawful to shoot at any migratory wildfowl in the State of Utah with any calibre of rifle. o A six-day season and a limit of three male birds per day are the outstanding provisions for the pheasant season in Utah, county, announced an-nounced Saturday by Newell B. Cook, state fish and game commissioner. The pheasant season will open Sunday, November 6. The regulation three-day shoot is prescribed in most counties. Quail hunting also will be allowed in Utah county, for two days. The bag limit will be eight birds per day, and possession limit, eight. The possession limit for pheasants will be two days' legal kill, or six male birds. No shooting will be allowed al-lowed before 7 a. m. or after 6 p. m. Rifles and revolvers may not be used. Closed areas in Utah county include in-clude Utah State Training school property, the Pleasant Grove sanctuary sanc-tuary as marked and posted, Columbia Colum-bia steel plant bird sanctuary, Goshen Gosh-en valley bird sanctuary as marked and posted, Provo river sanctuary, Provo wildfowl refuge at Bullock's rat farm, and Utah State Mental hospital property. Shooting of migratory wildfowl in Utah will be legal from Saturday, October 15, to Monday, November 28, according to proclamation of Commissioner Com-missioner Cook. Shooting will be allowed from 7 a. m. to 4 p. m. each day, and hunters over 16 years of age must have an unexpired Federal migratory bird hunting stamp. .The limits on migratory wildfowl follow: DUCKS (except wood duck) Ten in the aggregate of all kinds in any one day, of which not more than 3 of any one, or more than 3 in the aggregate, may be of the following species canvasback, redhead, buf-flehead, buf-flehead, and ruddy; and any person at any one time may possess not more than 20 ducks in the aggregate of all kinds, of which not more than 6 of any one, or more than 6 in the aggregate may be of the following species canvasback, readhead, buf-flehead, buf-flehead, and ruddy.
