Show -Oak City- Mae H. Shipley " Sunday evening at Sacrament services Bruce Lovell and Mary Anderson and Monan Lovell were the speakers. Monan left this last week as he has volunteered for service in the air force. The open house for A. M. Roper was held Sunday afternoon. All his children except his son, Henry and daughter, Mabel were present. A host of friends called to congratulate con-gratulate and show the love and respect they have for this Oak City pioneer. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roper from Caliente visited his father Friday. Mr. and Mrs. La Mar Dewsnup were Oak City visitors this week. Mr. Doyle Anderson and Mrs. Kathryn Coleman visited their mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Caddie Anderson Sunday. Mrs. Bruce Lovell and daughter, Debra, visited in Holden several days with her father's family. Pfc. Calvin Dutson visited home this week end from Fort Warden, Washington. Mrs. Don Anderson and son, Glen visited Pleasant Grove over the week end. Wesley Shipley and Miss Day from Salt Lake City visited a few days the past week with friends and relatives in Oak City. |
