Show Utah Stockmen Attend Livestock Tour In Colorado, Wyoming' Farmers and ranchers from a number of eastern and central counties of Uath left Monday on a livestock inspection tour through Colorado and Wyoming, according to W. W. Owens, director direc-tor of Utah State Agricultural College extension service. Professor Harry H. Smith, extension ex-tension animal husbandman at the College is in charge of a trip and was met by the group at Kremmling, Grand County, Colorado, Colo-rado, where he judged the beef cattel show. This show is one of the largest of its kind in the world, being surpassed only by the Great Falls, Montana and Los Angeles shows. Itinerary of the tour in Colorado Colo-rado scheduled stops at Middle Park, Havden and Craig, where the visitors inspected Hereford herds; Denver and a visit to the stock yards; the fair at Kremmling; Kremml-ing; the famous Painter Hereford herd at Roggen; and the Colorado Colo-rado Agricultural College at Fort Collins to see the college herd. In Wyoming the most important impor-tant visit will be at the Wyoming Hereford ranch near Cheyenne. Saturday the group will return home. Wasatch, Sanpete, Carbon, Emery, and Piute counties are re-persented re-persented on the tour. |
