Sawyer, which took place at the Dickert home on Wednesday evening. Bishop Leonard, assisted by Rev Mr. Perkins, performed the ceremony. The bride's sister, Miss Elsiq Dickert, was maid of honor, and the brother of the groom, A. B Sawyer, Jr., best man. After the ceremony a large reception was held in the pretty rooms lavishly decoiated in green and white. Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer will spend the summer sum-mer in California. 5 5 t5 A large reception will be given this afternoon by Mrs. Hal W. Brown and Miss Drew at the home of the formor. Mrs Elizabeth Hooper Dunbar entertained at a charming luncheon on Wednesday afternoon In honor of Mrs. Arthur Shepherd. Mr. and Mrs. Rookledge entertained informally Wednesday evening. Mrs. L. C. Miller and her guest, Mrs. Lemare, received infoimally Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Miller entertained at dinner din-ner Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkes entertained informally in-formally Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John J. Daly gave an elaborate dinner at the Alta Club Sunday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Clement Cleveland, of New York. The next hop at the Post will take place Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mrs George K. Fischer is hostess at the Country Coun-try Club today. Clock golf and tea at 4 o'clock. Major, and Mrs. Smith entertained at the Post at cards last evening. Mis. Jack Keogh entertained at a delightful luncheon at the Knutsford on Tuesday in honor of Mrs. Katherine Leonard. Fourteen guests en joyed the event. A dainty tea enjoyed by about a hundred guests was that given by Mrs. J. H. Bidwell Wdenesday afternoon. A A quiet wedding which took place at the home of the bride's parents was that of Miss Josio Kelley and Alma Lindberg on Wednesday evening. Mrs. McMillan and Miss McMillan give a large reception next Friday afternoon. The annual banquet of the Alumni Association of the "U. of U. was a brilliant success.
