Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Johns motored to Manti Wednesday to be present at the reception glven Wednesday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Martin, who were married in New York last, month. The Home Culture Club was entertained en-tertained at the Knudsen home last Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. Andrew An-drew Kraudsen and Mrs. Ed. Johnston. John-ston. Mrs. E. C. Miss Mary Ann Hansen of St. Anthony, An-thony, Idaho, who is a guest of Miss Anna Johansen, was guest of honor at a delightful surprise given by several sev-eral friends who came unannounced Tuesday afternoon and evening. A delicious luncheon was enjoyed by about fifteen guests. A fine baby daughter arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chesley Christensen Monday. The largest social event of the week was the anniversary party given giv-en by the Eastern Star chapter for their members and the members ot the local Masonic Lodge Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs E. W. Wall. The lawns and porchPS were beautifully decorated will tall vases of roses and daisies and were spread with rugs couches and easy chairs. Various entertaining ganes and stunts were enjoyed on the lawn and a burlesque Willard-Dempsey fight was staged by J. D. Meyrick and C. L. Johns. An elaborate luncheon was served to sixty ,gusls. Miss Ruth Keusseff entertained a party of little girls at her home last Friday afternoon. Games and musical mu-sical numbers were enjoyed and a dainty luncheon was served by the hostess. |
