Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. Mrs. A. H. Maiben of Garfield is a guest of her mother, Mrs. James Wilson. Mrs. H. Guy Wood of Hemet Cal. is spending the summer with relatives. re-latives. Miss Leona Jensen of Price spent the Fourth with Mount Pleasant relatives, re-latives, returning home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry' Larsen of Magna have announced the arrival of a fine baby boy at their home. Mrs. Camilla Noland has as her .guest her dam'ghter Mrs. Hyrum Schneider of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Johns will leave for Wendell, Idaho Saturday to visit with Mr. John's parents, Rev. and Mrs. Johns. Among the many social affairs of the past week for Rev. Norton and family was a beautifully appointed luncheon Monday given by Miss Frances Jensen in compliment to Miss Esther Norton. Covers w'ere placed for twelve quests. In honor of Mrs. Monsen's blri'i-day blri'i-day anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. James Monsen entertained a party of sixty relatives and friends at dinner Monday Mon-day evening. Musical numbers and games .were enjoyed later in the evening. Mrs. Monsen was the recipient re-cipient of a number of handsome gifts. Tuesday evening Mrs. A Crane, Mrs. O. F. Wall, Mrs. E. W. Wall, Mrs. R. Anderson, Mrs. J. W. Mc-Gann, Mc-Gann, Mrs. I. E. Jorgensen and Mrs G. W. Brand entertained the Home Culture Club members and their friends at a very enjoyable garden party at the Jorgensen home in honor hon-or of Rev. and Mrs. Norton, and on Thursday afternoon Mrs. Norton and Miss Grace Mae Sample were the honor guests at a beautiful kensing-ton kensing-ton and luncheon given by Mrs. H. F. Wall. A very successful igarden party was given Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Brand by the members of the Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star Chapter in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olson of Fairview and Rev. and Mrs. R. B Norton. Mr. and Mrs. Olson are leaving the latter part of the month to make their home in Prove, and Rev. Norton and family are leaving soon for their new home in Kingfisher King-fisher Okla. About sixty guests were in attendance and the evening's entertainment en-tertainment features consisted of games dancing and various cleverly executed stunts. |
