Show FAIRVIEW. Mrs: Heber Morris and children who spent the past week here returned return-ed to their home at Murray. Mrs. Hyrum Fescher of Salt Lake City spent last week with relatives in Fairview. Mrs. Elias BTady, Mrs. Mervin Brady, Mrs. Dallas Young and Eldon Brady came from Myton to spend the holiday week with friends and relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Nephi Cruser and children came from Storrs and spent the week at Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Allred of Salt Lake City spent a few days in Fairview tttis week. Mrs. Ole Lassen came from the hospital in Salt Lake City last week. She is reported to be getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Anderson came from Burnt Fork, Wyoming and are spending the week visiting relatives. Miss Nola Day who spent the past month in Wyoming returned to Fair-view Fair-view with her sister, Mrs. J. C. Anderson. And-erson. Mr. and Mrs. George Daley returned re-turned to Salt Lake City Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Welby Turpin came to. Fairview and spent the holiday week. They are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Turpin. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rasmussen from La Point came to Fairview to sDend the Fourth. Their son, Darrel Rasmussen who just arrived from France is visiting with them. Darrel Rasmussen was a member of Battery E. of the 148th field artillery. He spent about eighteen months in France and was in the army of occupation oc-cupation at Hehr, Germany near the Rhine. He has been discharged with honor. He was a wagoner and has had many interesting experiences. exper-iences. He enlisted at Colton but was formerly of Fairview. Miss Verda and Miss Margery Pherson who spent the past six months attending school hi' Salt Lake City came home for the hodiday week. Mrs. Newel Cox and baby daughter daugh-ter accompained her brother, Ervin Day to his home at La Point this week. She will visit relatives for some time. Haldo Christensen came from Magna and spent the Fourth with friends and relatives. Miss Eva Orten went to Murray this week to visit with her sister. Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Poulsen and children were guests at the home of Mrs. Swen O. Nielson the past week. A farewell missionary party will be given, in honor of Stanley Brady, at the Pavilion Friday evening, July 11th. Mrs. Newel Cox entertained the following guests at a house party July 6th. The evening was spent in games and social chat. A dainty luncheon was served to the following: follow-ing: Mr. and Mrs. Eli A. Day Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Cox, and Ervin Day. Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Cloeman of Thistle and Mr. and Mrs. I seph Snow of Park City were guesis at. the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Snow during the holiday week. Miss Delta Nordstrom entertained entertain-ed at a slumber party on Julv 3rd. A dainty luncheon was served to Ora Anderson. Vondella Hansen, Agnes , Christensen. Verda Miner. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stewart, who spent the past two weeks hero, returned re-turned to their home at Nephi this week. Mr. and Mrs. Horatio Cox and children from Idaho, who spent the holidays here also returned home this week. |
