Show Telephone Co. Named Award Winner Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone Company has received the 1957 certificate of "Excel- ' lence in Management" awarded by the American Institute of Management, according to H. K. Richmond, local Telephone Company District Manager. The certificate was granted after the Institute completed a systematic, ten-point examination examin-ation of the firm's management operations and accomplishments accomplish-ments for last year. The Institute is a non-profit research and educational organization or-ganization with headquarters in New York City. In completing the management survey the following 10 phases of operation opera-tion were taken into consideration: consider-ation: Corporate structure, service to share owners, economic eco-nomic function, research and development, directorate analysis, an-alysis, fiscal policies, production produc-tion efficiency, sales vigor, and executive exaluation. - Walter K. Koch, President of the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone Company, stated, "I am personally very gratified that our Company has merited this citation. It is a fine tribute to the directors, officers, and entire en-tire employee body. We all w'll continue to make every effort to operate our business in such a manner that we can furnish the best posisble service at t lowest posible cost consistent with fair treatment to customers, custom-ers, share owners, and employees, em-ployees, and within the bounds of financial safety." |
