Mr. and Mrs. Keren Simper and two children of Vernal were here on Saturday to attend at-tend th3 wedding reception held at the Enoch Ward Church for Eloa Richardson and George Battraw, who were Mrs. Veda Matheson Mrs. Cora Murie went to Bountiful Tuesday by piano to spend a few weeks with Mr. arid Mrs. Bryant Anderson. A 4-H planning meeting was' held Thursday evening at the Enoch Church. Clubs were formed and leaders chosen. Mrs. Barbara Adams of Par-owan Par-owan is spending a few days with her daughters, Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Bryant and Mrs. Lillian Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie of Las Vegas w?re here Wednesday Wednes-day for a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Garfield and children of Las Vegas were here Friday and Saturday Satur-day with Mrs. Delia Garfield. The Sunday School class of j Mrs. Delia Garfield and Vern Grimshaw went to Veyo Sat-urdday. Sat-urdday. Bob Jenson of Salt Lake City spent part of Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson. Week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Nelson were Mrs. Britton and riauehter Annette, who are the married Saturday in the St. George Temple. Mr, and Mrs. Coral Richardson Richard-son and two children of Provo were here for the week end with the Elton Richardson family and to attend the wedding wed-ding and reception. Among others who were here for the wedding and reception re-ception were the groom's family, fam-ily, Mrs. Charles Battraw and children Carol, Eddie, and Tammy, of Safford, Ari.., and Mrs. Rosalee Lucas of San Manuel, Ariz. Also here were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jordon I of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Black of Las Vegas, Joan Pearson of Holyoak, Ariz., and Kemp Crocket of Arizona, who was best man, Mrs. Clco Whicker, Mava and Juliene Whicker of Delta, Mr. and mother and sister of Mrs. Carl Nelson. Norman and Lolocn Grimshaw Grim-shaw were in Salt Lake City over the week end with Rosa-lee's Rosa-lee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw. They were Mrs. Doyle Sly and boys from Milford. Merle and Joe Nelson and Mrs. Eva Starling, Mrs. Olivia Dean, and Mrs. Aleen Osborne of Beaver, friends and relatives rela-tives of the bride, came for the reception in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Davis of California, Nola Austin, I Vicky Laws, Mary Ellen I Hatch, and Silvia Caldwell of I Provo were also here for the ' week end for the wedding j and reception. George and Eloa left on Monday for Arizona where they will make their home. |
