Show Public Hearing on Proposed Budget Slated for Monday A public hearing on the proposed pro-posed 1959 Budget of Pleasant Grove City will be held at the Pleasant Grove City Hall on Monday, Mon-day, ,Dec. 15, at 7 :30 p.m. according accor-ding to City Recorder Millen D. Radmall. All interested citizens are invited to attend. The 1959 City Budget is based on an assessed valuation of $3,099,368 and lists anticipated revenues of $145,370 from General Gener-al Fund collections plus $84,438 from Water Utility and .Sewer service. Some of the chief sources of revenue in the proposed budget include property taxes, $64,777; business licenses, $5,620; fines and forfeitures, $6,000; State liquor liq-uor fund, $4,638; garbage collection, collec-tion, $4,700; tax anticipation note $30,000 and transfer from perpetual per-petual fund, $15,000. Expenditures totaling' $145,370 in the General Fund and $84,438 in the Water and Sewer Departments Depart-ments are also' set up in the proposed budget. |
