Show BYU Christmas Hour Program to Appear on TV The Brigham Young- University Univer-sity Christmas Hour, the annual television production of the University, Uni-versity, will be presented Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. on Channel Four, ac-carding ac-carding to Owen S. Rich, chairman chair-man of radio and TV programs at EYU, and producer of the show. Again this year, the show will be in stereophonic, sound and will be carried on KI5YL and KEYY radio. Titled "The Little Boy Who Lost Christmas," the show will be narrated by Lynn McKinlay, member of the speech faculty, and will feature a cast of more than 100 students. The program is being presented under the direction dir-ection of the BYU Program Bureau, Bur-eau, the Department of Speech and Dramatic Arts, the Division of Radio and Television, and the dance department. Choral offerings will be by the A Cappella Choir, the Opera Workshop and the Madrigal Singers. Sing-ers. Numerous variety numbers will be woven into the show as the story progresses. The story deals with a small boy who has lost the spirit of Christmas. The Christmas Fairy comes one night in a dream, and takes thai boy on a Christmas tour. Upon awakening, he learns the true meaning of Christmas. Talent director for the program will be Mrs. Fontell Meservy, program pro-gram coordinator, costuming by Dorothy Whittakeir and Charles Henson will he in charge of sets. |
