Show Queens Reign Over Stake, Ward Gold and Green Balls Scouts under the direction of Mrs. Sylvia McDonald. The general committee in charge of this year's annual ball consisted of Mrs. Lillian Boyce, Mrs. Lcta Pugh, Mrs. Marie Pace and Royal W. Sims, Edger Martindale, Ralph Smith and Mr. and Mrs. John Sumners. Miss Roberta Angel will be crowned queen at the Holladay Second ward Gold and Green call Saturday evening. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Angel 4545 Highland iJrive. The ball which will begin be-gin at 8:30 p. m. is under the direction of Mrs. Betty Johnson John-son and Noel Gold, activity counselors of Holladay Second ward. Music will be furnished by the Oran Salisbury orchestra orches-tra and light refreshments will be served. "Artists' Impromptu" will be the theme of the Gold and Green Ball to be given Friday evening by Holladay First ward, which has been decorated in varying shades of pink for the occasion. The date affair will begin at 8:30 and during intermission time the queen of the ball will be announced. Mrs. Edith Shepherd and Mrs. Glenna Barker are in charge of refreshments while Mrs. Josephine Haugan is chair-I chair-I man of decorations. Crowned queens of Cottonwood Cotton-wood stake at the teenagers uoid and Green ball were Vicky Smith, Joanne Beckman and Georgia Davidson at the very successful dance Friday evening eve-ning at the stake house. The king similarly honored was Don Hilton. Each of those chosen for crowning had perfect per-fect attendance records of several sev-eral years standing. The program was originated by Ruth Peterson, stake drama director, who narrated the details de-tails of occurence as they were enacted by the participants partici-pants in the program. Honored also with personally inscribed books were Vicky Smith and Linda Jeffs, Holladay Holla-day First ward; Joanne Beck-man Beck-man and Darlene Crittenden, Holladay Third; Rosalie Shaw, and Linda Terry, Holladay Fourth; Sharon Taylor, Holladay Holla-day Fifth; Margaret Evans and Irene Olsen, Cottonwood First; George Davidson and Ann Tur-pin Tur-pin of South Cottonwood. Queens of the wards selected for their attendance records were Ann Miller, Claudia Evans and Charlyn La Leunesse. Kings of the wards presented present-ed with cuff links were Ben Cline, Holladay First; Jerry Tuckett, Holladay Second; Kent Ince, Holladay Third; Niels (Sonny) Hansen, Holladay Fourth; Lyman Littlefield Holladay Hol-laday Sixth; Tim Meadows and Doug Evans, Cottonwood Second, Sec-ond, Walter Boelter and Dennis Dawson South Cottonwood. Those presented with inscribed books for their perfect attendance attend-ance records were Don Hilton, Kent Player and Maurice Nielsen. Niel-sen. After the queens were crowned crown-ed a floor show was put on in their honor by Dean and Val Uttley, stake dance directors. Light refreshments were served under the direction of Mrs. Lina Belnap, Mrs. Marva Ras-mussen Ras-mussen and Mrs. G. Carlos Smith.
