Show MRS. K. WHITNEY OBSERVES 88th BIRTHDAY Mrs. Keziah Whitney observed her 88th birthday Friday, at the home of a son, Herbert Gabbitas. A birthday dinner was served from one long table decorated with sweet peas and centered with an elaborately decorated birthday cake, to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gabbitas and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Goodman Aiken and Herbert Aiken, Orem; Mrs. Thomas McClain and children of Salt Lake City; Miss Vivian Smith and Miss Dixie Gabbitas. Mrs. Whitney was born February Febru-ary 7, 1853, at Coventry, Warwickshire, War-wickshire, England. She was married mar-ried to George William Gabbitas, July 31, 1871, in the Salt Lake Endowment En-dowment house. Mr. Gabbitas died May 26, 1892. She was later married mar-ried to Jeremiah Harrison, and her last husband was Leonard J. Whitney. She is the mother of five living children: Mrs. Thomas Loynd of Los Angeles, Mrs. D. E. Cannon of Twin Falls, Idaho, George and Herbert Gabbitas and Glen Harrison Har-rison of Springville. Little Herbert Aiken of Orcm also celebrated his third birthday on the same day as his great-grandmother, great-grandmother, and was duly honored hon-ored at the dinner. |
