Show MRS. LILLIE HUME SERVICES HELD Services for Mrs. Lillie Hume, 35, wife of Earl Hume of Springville, Spring-ville, who died Sunday evening following a major operation at a local hospital, were held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon in the Third ward chapel. Mrs. Hume was born in Salem, February 3, 1906, a daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Twissell Hope. She spent her early life in Salem, moving to Springville with her husband in 1930. Mrs. Hume was sergeant-at-arms in the Springville unit of the American Legion Auxiliary, and had been active in L. . D. S. church work. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Donald and Max Hume of Springville; her parents of Salem; four sisters and a brother, bro-ther, Gertrude Hope of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Sadie Aigne of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Euna Painter of Santa-quin, Santa-quin, Mrs. Ada Moody of Los Angeles, An-geles, and George Hope of Provo. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under the direction of A. Y. Wheeler & Son mortuary. |
