Show Southeast Couple United in Marriage Last Friday, Nov. first, two prominent southeastern young people were united in marriage. In a temple ceremony performed by Harold B. Lee and witnesed by members of the immediate families, Richard W. Madsen III claimed Miss Ruth Lee for his bride. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. La-Fayette La-Fayette C. Lee, 3438 S. West Temple, the new Mrs. Madsen was a former student at the University Uni-versity of Utah where she was active in student affairs. Mr. Madsen, son of the R. W. Madsen Jrs., 5940 Holladay' Blvd., also attended the University of Utah. He served on a mission to the Hawaiian Islands for the LDS Church for four years. He was the first of four pre-chaplain appointees ap-pointees allotted to the LDS Church by the Navy and was recently discharged after three years of service. He completed his education at Harvard University. |
