And so that we can share each other's fun, we are going to tell you about all the parties, babies, weddings, wed-dings, travelers and such that we have room for. . . . just lookee here at this week's goings on. Bob and Margaret Richards are expected home from their California honeymoon today. They pulled the surprise act last week on their numerous friends and were married by Stephen L. Richards in the Salt Lake Temple. Margaret is the daugh-J daugh-J ter of the J. Spencer Cornwalls, ' 1246 Parkway Aye. Bob is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stayner Richards, 2646 Alden. The new-lyweds new-lyweds are coming home to a brand new little bungalow decorated dec-orated a la Chinese Modern. . . and we here tell it's something to see. If you want to know who has the sweetest little brother in all the world just ask Janet Ann and Pamela Kay Hansen. The newcomer weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 ozs. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs Earl Hansen, 3160 So. 1765 East. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pack, 2205 South 20th East haven't chosen cho-sen a name for their son that just arrived a few days ago. Wedding bells tolled happily for the former The.Inia Johnson and Henry J. Timmerman Jr. They are the children if Mrs. Lillie Johnson, 1753 Fourth East St. and Mr. and Mrs. Timmerman Timmer-man senior, respectively. The Timmerman address, by the way, is 1782 Seventh East. Mr. and Mrs William Telle Cannon are back from a mission to Hawaii. They came in via Clipper and were honored at an oye v)i!S'al.jDUnday given by their children at the Winder farm, 4400 W. 4100 South. Two of the youngsters whose names appeared on the soutn-eastern soutn-eastern roster of the armed forces have each; pledged themselves them-selves to a new master, as it were. Kenny and Claire Evans; are the two in mention. The new Mrs. Evans is the former Miss Claire Georgene Cahoon, daughter of the George E. Caho-ons, Caho-ons, 3061 Eleventh East. Mr. Evans is a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Evans,3152, Tenth East. Claire was a Wave and Kenny was in the army air corps during dur-ing the war year. A bit of extra epecial excitement excite-ment is in the air today for Elaine Stringhani and Seymour Reynolds Woolfenden. . . it's their nuptial day. The ceremony is to be solemnized by Joseph Fielding Smith in the Salt Lake Temple. There will be a recept- ( ion tonight at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J J. Stringham, 1702 Ninth East. The benedict is a son of Mrs Marian R. Woolfenden of Magna . . . .Elaine you know, is a talented tal-ented musician . .sings with the Symphony Singers et al. A loveable little sister for Darr, Burton, and Leon Greenwood Green-wood has come to live with them. No name has been decided upon as yet, but the proud parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton R. Greenwood, Green-wood, 1559 East 21st South admit ad-mit they've had plenty of helpful sugestions. Add Mr. and Mrs. Tolva Benson, Ben-son, 2891 So. 20th East who have a new son and heir, to the Stork Club membership list. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Roylanec, 1261 Emerson Emer-son avenue, have a precious bundle from heaven that is every bit boy, they tell us. Other eligibles for club membership Mr. and Mrs. George Morgan and their bouncing boy. The Morgan address is 1443 E. 30th South. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Beecher, 1121 Gilmer Dr., Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Marcroft, 2263 Lake St. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hardy, 1527 East 27th South street have dainty daughters to boost stock in the rapildy growing Southeastern South-eastern branch of the famous Stork club. Happy birthday greetings were extended to our beloved Frank Y. Taylor this week when he celebrated cel-ebrated his 85th birthday. A special birthday dinner was held in his honor at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Richards, 1955 Yale Ave. Mr. Taylor is a veteran real estate man and was president presi-dent of the Granite stake for years. , Special congratulations from all of us to you, Lynn Jarvis for your scouting achievement. Lynn is the first eagle scout in Troop 199. He received his a-ward a-ward this week in a special ceremony cere-mony at Parley's Ward Chapel, 21st East and 21st South. Victor M. Johnson is scoutmaster. Lynn's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Jarvis, 1819 Nineteenth East. |
