Show "Delta Wedding" by Eudora Welty is a novel of the people in the rich Delta land of the Mississippi-Southern story which always al-ways is interesting and attractive attrac-tive to us Westerners. "Lustre In The Sky" by Countess Coun-tess R. G. Waldeek, is the story of Vienna and Tallyrand, the French diplomat, at the Congress Con-gress of Vienna. In this book you will find pomp, splendor, pageantry pagean-try and excitement of history making events. The title "Something Between" Betwe-en" (author Marion Cockrell) is taken from Wordsworth's lines: "There stood the urchin as you divine, something between a hindrance hin-drance and a help." In this story you get the humor of the events in the lives of grown-ups as a young boy (who is an amateur detective) sees them besides the interest in the love stories of three sisters in a small town, where, if the neighbors didn't know the facts about them, they invented some. .My Deiore Christmas, -n desire, at Sprague i liraiiL-n Library to help in the choice of books as Christmas gifts. We invite visitors, and we will be glad to make suggestions for gifts. We also invite everyone to see the Library exhibit in one of the windows of The Sterling Furniture Furni-ture Company at the corner of 21st South and 11th Fast during dur-ing Book Week. To carry out the theme of "Books are Bridges" we are going to show books of other lands, which will help us here in America to understand people of other countries, and books about ourselves to help us understand ourselves. COME AND SEE US Especially interesting in Salt Lake and LTtah is a new book by Florence Ivins Hyde called "The Camp In The Canyon". A new series of stories published by Silver Burdette Co. is "Children Of The U. S. A." Mrs Hyde's new book represents Utah and tells of a group of young people on a camping and horseback trip near Zion National Park and includes descriptions of the Park and the story of a visit to sheep-herder's sheep-herder's wagon. "This Is Good-Bye," Baur. A story of three young women who said "good-bye" during the war and all three were brought together to-gether while working at the same defense plant. It tells of their experiences and emotions as well as activities in the plant. It seems to be easy reading and an interesting book.
