This farm tree planting pro. gram has been made available to Utah farmers as a result of fed. eral and state cooperation in the producton and distribution of small trees for specified farm purposes The Extension Service and the School of Forestry of the Utah State Agriculurtal college are responsible res-ponsible for the program. Trees will be available to Cache county farmers again this year at an average cost of one to one and one-half cents per tree. Order blanks are available at the county agent's office or may be obtained by writing the Extension Forester a tfche college at Logan. Treed is. tribution will start approximately March 20, Mr. Floyd stated. In- terested farmers should make plans for these trees at as early a date as possible in order that they may be taken care of before be-fore the rush of spring farm work. |
