Show KEET KIDNAPING CASE IS STARTED MARSHFIELD. Mo., Oct. 9. Rapid progress was , made here today in the trial of Claud J. Piersol, charged with the kidnaping of Baby Lloyd Keet, of , Springfiald. The jurors, all of whom are fanners and all except two are married and have children, were quickly selected select-ed and after the prosecutor's opening statement, Miss Ida McCannon and Jennie Jen-nie Haig, nurse and cook, respectively, at the Keet home, testified as to the disappearance dis-appearance of the baby on May SO. They were followed by Mr. and Mrs. J. Holland Keet, who identified the clothing- which was wrapped around the baby when it was found in a cistern on the deserted Crenshaw farm several days afterward. During the afternoon the prosecution sought to prove that Lloyd Keet had been kept at the Crenshaw house all the time following his disappearance and the subsequent discovery of the body. |
