Show GOLD HILL STATION SENDS OUT 1 1 7 CARS One hundred and seventeen cars of ore, approximately Ehii0 tons, were shipped ; from Gold Hill station In the Peep Creek ! district during: the month of September. Of these all but five were sent out by the Western Utah Copper company; the i pole Star shipped three cars, the Garrison Monster one and one came from the Cop-peropolis. Cop-peropolis. Most of the ore shipped by the Western j Utah Copper averaged between 4 and j 6 per cent, copper, with five to six ounces i of silver to the ton. The Pole fcHar com- pauy shipped two cars of copper-silver ore and one of bismuth and copper. The Copperopolls shipment was second -grade i ore which carried about 9 pr .cent copper, cop-per, ten ounces of silver and $10.60 gold to the ton. The Hhlpment from the Gar-I Gar-I rison monster was low-grade lead ore. |
