Show Oak City . . . MAE H. SHIPLEY A good crowd attended the PTA Friday evening. A very fine program pro-gram was enjoyed. Thirty-two LDS girls and their group leaders and advisors spent an enjoyable evening at the home of Mrs. Ann Finlinson, Monday, Nov. 8th. A short business meeting was held and the remaining time used for games and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Jacobson of Ogden, and family, visited Mrs. Jia-cobson's Jia-cobson's parents Saturday and on Sunday: Mrs. Maggie Elder who has been ill for some time, is now able to visit in Delta with her daughter for awhile. The Reilef Society Conference held Sunday evening was conducted conduct-ed by President Mrs. Daisy Nielson. Music was furnished by the Singing Mothers, talks were given by Mrs. Alice Anderson, Mrs. Adele Anderson, Ander-son, Mrs. Harriet Finlinson and Mrs. Helen Anderson. Reports and minutes were given by Pres. Nielson Niel-son and Sec. Mrs. Norma Lovell. The visiting stake officers were Mrs. Mary Bassett and she also spoke. The chapel was made lovely love-ly by many chrysanthemums grown by Verl Jacobson and Relief Society members. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson and family were Oak City visitors Sunday. Sun-day. Salt Lake visitors the past week were Emery Dutson, Marvin Finlinson, Fin-linson, Wilford Sheriff and John L. Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lovell and Mrs. Susan Shipley visited in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove last Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. George Lovell. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Christensen were Oak City visitors. |
