Show Lyimdyl ...... Mrs. Rachel Simpson Mrs. Nina Oversen and Mrs. Het-tie Het-tie Johnsen of Sutherland spent Monday visiting Mrs. Mary John-sen. John-sen. Mrs. Oversen returned home but her mother remained for a short visit. Mr. Lyman Porter went to American Amer-ican Fork to visit his sister Thorma and went to Pr'ovo. Louise Wily drove to Springville with him after visiting him for two weeks. Tilman Johnsen came home over the week end from Cedar with him for his first visit to Lynndyl. Mr. Lewis Woodbury went to ' Los Angeles for .a short visit. He returned Tuesday and he and Mrs. Woodbury went to Hurricane to visit relatives. The Woodbury's have purchased a home at Red-land Red-land California. Friday Mrs. Phil Nielsen and Mrs. Eleanor Nielsen "went to Spanish Fork. They had Janice' tonsils out. Mrs. Caddie Lovell of Oak City spent the night with her sister, Mrs. Hettie Johnsen and Mrs. Lile Johnsen. Mrs. Lile Johnsen received word from her sister and niece that they had new baby boys. One is Mrs. Frances Burnham of Idaho Falls. She was the former Merle Johnsen and Mrs. Gorden McEuen. of Los Angeles California. She is the former Helen Johnsen, daughter daugh-ter of Effie Johnsen. Merle is Mrs. Mary Johnsen's sister. A parents and Teachers meeting was held here Wednesday at the school house. They discussed the purchase of a motion picture projector pro-jector to benifit the children in a educational way. A man from Salt Lake was here to give a talk and demonstrate it. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielsen went to Cedar to see the play their daughter Colleen took the lead in. Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Jacobsen and sons of Ogden visited in Lynndyl Sunday with their many friends and enjoyed dinner with Mrs. and Bishop Nielsen. ' Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse and children spent the day in Provo. Sunday evening was RS conference confer-ence under the direction of president presi-dent Rhea Whatcott. Talks were given by Lottie Gronning Tressa Terry andHazel Sheriff. The theme and scripture readings was given by Mrs. Wanda Roper. Mary Smith opened with prayer. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks went to Los Vegas to visit Mr. and Mrs. Dave Banks and ffamily. He is Mr. Banks brother. Mrs. Effie Allen arturned from Cedar Monday where she visited for a week with her husband.- Mr. and Mrs. Garin Weir of Reed were here over the week end to visit Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen. They also visited friends in Leam- Nephi to see Dr. Beckstead. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Simpson land Jay Simpson went to Blackrock and then enjoyed dinner din-ner in Oak City with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and son of Provo visited here with the many friends they have here Sunday. Sun-day. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson drove to Salt, Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stewart. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Durward Clark and Janeane Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mest are taking their vacation and visiting their daughter Myla and family in Cache Junction where they have moved recently to make their home. They also took Carla May Lovell, daughter of Willie Lovell with them. Mrs. . Jeromee Ivie received an announcement that Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nielson of Portland, Oregon, are very happy over the arrival of twins weighing over 6 lbs. They were born Oct. 30. They are both boys. Sunday a surprise parly was given giv-en at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Talbot, The occasion was Mrs. Talbot's 60th birthday. Present Pres-ent were: Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Vest and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Talbot and son, Mr. and Mrs. Foral Coleman, Clark Talbot, Mr. and Lester Welton and daughter of Delta. A lovely dinner was served and the family , presented her with a lovely set of silverware. ington. Miss Margaret Smith spent the week end in Salt Lake visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joe Easterbook. Sunday she visited her sister in Magna and returned home Sunday even-ning. even-ning. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Home of Salt Lake were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clark Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. , Ray Clark' returned to Salt Lake 'with them to- attend the wedding of her grandaughter, Miss Shirley Bosh who is to be married soon. Mr. ond Mrs. Ray Clark and daughter dau-ghter Anna Dee, Mrs. Don James and children drove to Provo Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. James will visit with her husband, who is working in Provo Rachel Sinpson and Mrs. Norma Majers went to Salt Luke Friday evening to visit Louise Clark and Janeane Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Nielsen of Leamington,, spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Irving Nielsen. Miss Marilyn-Hayes, Crystil Nielsen Niel-sen Mary Beth Roper and La Rae Greathouse, enjoyed a candy pull at the Hiyyes home Sunday. Fifteen children helped Steven Majers enjoy his seventh birthday Thursday Nov. 4, games were played play-ed and ice ccream and cake was served to the following children: Gene Majers, Neil Femiey, Terry James, Keith Johnson, Jerry Caring-ton Caring-ton Dee James, Linda Greathouse, Nancy Lvnn Majers, Russell Great-house Great-house Marnell Johnsen Norman Vest, Joe Nielson, Ralph Oversen, Steven Majers -and Wayne Ivie. A birthday party was given Friday Fri-day Nov. 5, at the Simpson home in honor of Niel Fernley. Games were played and Gene Majers won first prize for the boys and Roma Bradfield first for the girls. Nancy Lynn Majers and Joe Nielson won booby prizes.
