Show LARGE CLASS TO GRADUATE AT JR. HIGH Commencement Exercised 1 Thursday Evening, An-I An-I nounces Principal Harold j Peterson. I With 225 graduates receiving di-I di-I piomas, the Logan Junior high school commencement exercises i will be held Thursday evening at ! 7:30 o'clock in the school audi- tonum, Harold M. Peterson, principal, prin-cipal, announced Monday. Superintendent E. Allen Bate-: Bate-: man will take charge of the pro-! pro-! gram that features seven student ! participants, building their presentations pre-sentations around the theme: "The Abundant Life is Gained Through Hard Work and Clear Thinking." Seections by the junior high or-'chestra or-'chestra under 'the direction of A. It. Henson, numbers by the ninth grade girls' glee club, led by Thain j Carlisle, presentation of the class I by Principal Peterson, presenta- tion of certificates by William Evans Jr., president of the Logan city board of education, and the 'prayers, complete the program. The entire program, prepared by a. 'committee headed by Beva Lee, head of the English department at the school, follows: "Commencement March" and "Intermezzo Russe," played by the Junior high orchestra; invocation by Robert Siddoway; welcome address ad-dress by Norman Salisbury, president presi-dent of the ninth grade class; reading of the poem, "The Thinker," Think-er," written by Bertan Bradley. Beth Keller. Mignon Gadd will play incidental music for the poem.
