Show iTwASHAKIE INDIAN GIRL SENDS IN NEWS LETTER By MISS GRIFFIN PBYOFB Washakie, Utah The boys from Provo, Utah, are coming to Washakie ward this coming Saturday, May 21. They will j be here In afternoon and I give a program, so as the Indians will give program and I the Indians will also show the native dances such as Round dances. War dance and about couple of other dances. I should say that every one of us know that this ia the Book of Mormon year and so our white friends are studying study-ing about Lamanites how they came to this earth and most of the boys haven't seen the Lamanites people or seen Washakie ward before. A funeral service was held in Washakie ward for Clara Alex, nine year old daughter of Mrs. Lucy Z. Alex. She was been ill for a number of months. Relatives from Fort Hall were Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Peyope and Mrs. Fanny Red from Bannock creek, Idaho, and Mra Ida Z. Bosie from Blackfoot, Idaho. The relatives rela-tives brought vwry nice flowers. flow-ers. The service was conducted by Bishop Joseph Parry and also by the school teachers, Mr. and Mrs. La Grande Horsier. |
