In the evening for the young peor.le. Ice cream was served. Mrs. John Chaffer of Salt Lake is visiting- with her sinter, Mrs. Irene Bradley. Tuesday Mrs, Mary Honsen of; Lavan returned home after spending ten day's v. ith her mother, Mrs. Jensen. Joseph Seelv of Mt. Pleasant came do vn to attend ta meeting of the farmers. The purpose of the meeting was to decide if they should re-luy some poratoes which they paid half price for some time ago. They came to the conclusion that it was best to 1 take them, if they do have to pay two dollars a bushel, as there are very few seed potatoes in Moroni. Mr. :and Mrs. Andrew Jensen and Ray Kenington of Salt Lake are visiting with the parents of Mr. Jensen. Friday the first local phone was put. in the Moroni- Co-op. They will be very busy from now on putting phones in. They have the wires strung on the poles. It will not be long till it will be in running order. There is to be about sixty phones to begin with. Mr. Ed. Johnston's automobile arrived ar-rived all 0. K. Friday Millie Anderson entertained a number of her friends Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Dinner was served at three o'clock. The remaining part of the . after-noon was spent in games. Those present were Elvina Anderson, Edna Larsen, Nona and Delina Jensen. The home of Richard Symes is under quarantine for small pox. Otto Christensen, who has been teach ing school at Aurora came home Saturday. Mrs. J. M. Christensen, Jr. has been very sick the last week. j Tuesday evening a musical reeita' . was given by Arvilla Clark and Will-ard Will-ard Andelin, at the tabernacle. Monday, Jessie Chapman went to Fountain Green to remain for some time. Mrs. Arnold Arnoldson came over from Pai k City to visit with hr mother, Mrs. Neilsen. James Larsen, Bert Bradley, Len ard Morley and Edwin Neilsen have, gone to Price to work. Moses Draper left Tuesday for 1 Idaho. He intends to be gone for a month or more, visiting with his children. |
