Show DARING ROBBERY OX THE C. P. R. R. Wells, Fargo -fc Co'a Kxpresa Plundered, Plun-dered, aud S10,000 Taken. The following telegram was received yesterday by Atlantic & Pacific and Deseret Telegraph lines : Ogden, Nov. 0. Wells, Fargo & Co's. express was ransacked last night. Forty-live thousand dollars are reported re-ported taken. The car was disconnected discon-nected from the engine and, through some cause yet unexplained, continued on five miles. The robbery Ls supposed to have been plotted and executed by gang. By private sources we undorsUud that the robbers disconnected the car from the passenger train, plundered the express car, and compelled the engineer to stop where they desired to get off. Further particulars are yet wanting. Since the above was iu type, we have received the following by Western Union line : San Francisco, 3. The great overland over-land eastward train, on the Central Pacific railroad, was stopped and the express car robbed last night, between Verdi and Pieno, by a band of h gh-wayuien, gh-wayuien, who boarded the train at Verdi. Pistols were held to the heads of the conductor and brakesmen. The express car was detached and robbed of about -10,000 in coin, with which the robbers escaped to the mountains.
