Show Lodging Unit Sets Up Rules The Park City Lodging Association As-sociation held a meeting Wednesday, Wed-nesday, March 1 in the Crescent Room at Treasure Mountain Inn. Chairman We Id on Daines presided over the approximately approximat-ely 20 lodge, hotel owners and managers in attendance. It was decided to withdraw support from the Utah Ski Association As-sociation Reservation Center in Salt Lake City and give Wtfl support to the Park City Reservation Res-ervation Center. Intra Park City lodging commission com-mission was discussed as well as details of the Mountainland Advertising Committee. Notes were made on all the features involved in rentals ... rates, deposits, etc. and it was voted to appoint a Standards Committee who will inspect properties wishing listing in the Park City brochure. This committee will include Earl Parker, chairman, owner of Innsbruck; Bonnie Brown, The Brown House; and Ed Hosen-feld, Hosen-feld, Chateau Apres. It was noted with regret that some visitors to Park City this ski season have been disappointed dis-appointed in accommodations booked ahead of time. The next meeting of the Association will be Wednesday, April 5 at 8 p.m. at Treasure Mountain Inn. |
