Show MAX NICHOLS WINS $60 WHO'S WHO POT Young Max Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. 'W. (Bill) Nichols, had all clues correctly listed on the lucky entry blank Mrs. Clair Gillins drew from the entry box at Jeff Merc, and for figuring out that Vernon Burns, City Recorder, Record-er, was the mystery citizen and listing all clues correctly won the big jackpot, totaling $60. Max said he was going to "put the money in the bank and keep adding to it to help pay my way through college after I graduate from Milford - High." This week we start over, with a $7.50 prize for the entry drawn if the correct Who's Who is listed, list-ed, and an additional $7.50 if the entry has all the clues correctly listed. Will the jackpot start climbing again, or will someone get the 15 bucks? Get your pencil and paper pa-per out now, and start looking for clues. The entry boxes will be at Sam's Furniture and at the Corner Cor-ner Drug, and the drawing will be held at 5:30 p. m. next TUESDAY TUES-DAY (we'll be out of town Monday). Mon-day). Each member of your family old enough to write out his or her entry blank (on any piece of paper) can enter twice once in each entry box. - Who will win this week you? |
