She was born September Sep-tember 19, 1911 in Leamington, Leam-ington, Utah, to Nathaniel and Jean Amanda Johnson Ashby. Mom attended school in Millard County. Her early years of life were spent in the Leamington and Lynndyl area where she enjoyed many great friendships. This is where she met the love of her life, Don W. Watts, with whom she shared their dreams, struggles, joy and love for 72 years. They were married mar-ried April 9, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Most of their 72 years of married life was spent in Springville, Utah, where they built, owned and operated op-erated Broodside Market for over 30 years, ogether they were very successful in the grocery business. Mom and Dad served a memorable and honorable LDS mission in Kentucky-Tennessee Kentucky-Tennessee 1974-76. They have continued contact with the people they loved and served. She has been active in the LDS Church serving in many callings especially in the Relief Society. So-ciety. The most prized achievement achieve-ment in her life was her family.
