Faculty members were invited to join in the fun, at an Olympic Event, where all members were able to participate in the Javelin Toss (yard sticks thrown across the Gym) The Rolling Chair race, (one of the more dangerous events) Finishing up with Hockey (wow the competition was fast and furious) the puck was none other than an eraser! However when all was said and done, it was the Blue team who took home the Gold! The winning team is pictured here, from left to right: Mrs. Andersen, Mrs. Christensen, Miss Wilkinson, Mrs. Bond, Mrs. Smith and Mrs.Steiner. The Most Valuable Player was agreed on by all, Mr. Sorensen! After the Competition everyone was treated to a delicious buffet of soups, salads, rolls and of course dessert! Need we say, a great time was had by all, even those seen tenderly sporting sore muscles the next day! We do hope the warm weather returns soon. Warmest Winter Greetings to all the other faculty members at our neighboring schools! Hie Pet Dish Man Stives (lolpliiiis Dr. Harold David P.V.M. This is a great animal story from China: The long arms of the world's tallest man reached in and saved two dolphins by pulling out plastic from their stom achs, state media and an aquarium official said. The dolphins got sick after nibbling on plastic from the edge of their pool at an aquarium in Liaoning province. prov-ince. Attempts to use surgical instruments to remove the plastic failed because the dolphins stomachs contracted con-tracted in response to instruments. Veterinarians then decided to ask for help from Bao Xishun, a 7-f oot-9 herdsman from Inner Mongolia Mongo-lia with 41.7 inch arms, state media said. Bao, 54, was confirmed last year by the Guinness Book of World Records as the worlds tallest living man. Chen Lujun, the manager of the Royal Jidi Ocean World aquarium, aquari-um, told the Associated Press that the shape of the dolphins stomachs made it difficult to push and instrument instru-ment very far without hurting the animals. People with shorter arms could not reach the plastic, he said. "When we failed to get the objects out we sought he help of Bao Xishun from Inner Mongolia and he did it successfully yesterday," Chen said. "The two dolphins are in very good condition now." The jaws of the dolphins dol-phins were held apart by towels so Bao could reach ynside the animal without being bitten. The Physicians of Utah Valley Pediatrics Are Pleased to Announce Garron E.
