He has also worked in the Scouting program serving as a Cubmaster and on the Scout Committee. While in these positions, he was able to help seven young men go on to receive their Eagle Scout Awards. One of the Eagle Scout projects that benefit-te- d the entire city of Mt. Pleasant was a section of sidewalk between 400 East and 600 East on 700 South. He says the thought of running for city council had crossed his mind several times in the past, but while working for the city he felt that he might be able to be objective. Since he is now employed by Fairview City, he would like to continue to work for the citizens of Mt. Pleasant as a councilman.
