This assembly under the supervision of Sandy French, was a smashing success and the display of talent will not be soon forgotten. Elections are underway at MHS with two political parties involved. The Fantastic Four include Steve Young, Jeff Rogers, Pauline Butler and Karla Redd and the Adams Actioneers are Mark Adams, Randy Muhlestein, Harriet Randall and Gail Dalton. These students compete for the offices of Student Body president, vice president, historian and secretary. Cheer leaders were Colleen Bailey, Julie Randall, Paula Heaton, Patrice Behunin, Nancy Christensen, Jerilyn Maughan, Kellie Sullivan, Stephanie Washburn, Debra Johnson, Carma Randolph, Tanis Johnson and Sheila Ramsay. A new amendment was added to the constitution of the High School during the primary elections. This amendment states that the school will have five cheerleaders instead of four. The majority of the student body felt the need for five was great and would certainly be an asset to our school We have two newcomers to our school. They are taking the place of Mrs. Sue Halliday, Mrs. Ila Robson will be teaching in the Library mornings and Mrs. Mary T aylor is teaching the American Problem class and taking care of the library in the afternoons. We want to welcome these ladies to our school and hope they enjoy themselves. Spring is here at last and the final quarter seems to be the longest. Everyone is tired and anxiously awaiting the Spring vacation which begins today and will end next Tuesday. All feel that it was well earned and counted the minutes until 3:33 p. m. Wednesday when they were free again. -- V' w y v. L if?' f it V 7 i t; r p t J j? . vv A w K;v f b RONNIE YOUNG and JEFF ROGERS are getting ready for the Ail javelin event.
