Show im n Blacks return from tour of Mexico To wed in Manti Temple Mr. and Mrs. Burnhard Black Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. jKeele, of Blanding, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Ann, to Lt. James G. Ralls, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Ralls of Fort Collins, Colo. of Blanding arrived home last week following a two and one-hamonth stay in Mexico. They lived in their trailer on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful summer weather. They went deep sea fishing, swimming and sun bathing. Monday evening the entire group met for a banquet at the Blanding Library. Davis of Fort Worth, Texas, announce the engagement of Mrs. Davis' daughter, Miss Alma Jean Patterson, to Mr. James P. Shannon of Blanding, Utah. Miss Patterson is also the daughter of the late Mr. J. T. Patterson of Blanding. Miss Patterson graduated from San Juan High School in 1967 and is now in her second year of study at the College of Southern Utah in Cedar City. Mr. Shannon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Shannon of Blanding and graduated from San Juan High School in 1964. He served three years in the U. S. Army, spending his last year of service in Viet Nam. The couple is planning a temple wedding in January the oldest and 16 members of his family were at the reunion. He is a physician in California, as is his son John. Lewis had eight members of his family present and son Melvin and his wife were there. Ruby Peterson Palmer, who lives in Blanding, has four children, who attended with the exception of son, Bert, who lives in Arizona. Andrew and Viola Peterson lived in Blanding for many years and their children all grew up there. Melvin and his family lived Ore. , where they now live, in Alaska for 20 years before moving to Eugene, Ore. , where they now live. They hope to move to Arizona in the future where they have purchased property. is of 1970.
